Article #1: ASP.NET 2.0 WebPart Infrastructure.

In this article, I introduce you to the ASP.NET 2.0 WebPart Infrastructure by writing a simple content management system website using the ASP.NET 2.0 WebPart framework. I demonstrate site customization using Master Pages, and how all that hooks in with the WebPart framework.

Article #2: ASP.NET 2.0 WebPart Infrastructure & SharePoint 2007

In this article, I carry the discussion further and demonstrate WebPart connections and other advanced scenarios. I then talk about the interconnection between SharePoint 2007 and ASP.NET 2.0 and demonstrate how Sharepoint 2007 is built upon ASP.NET 2.0. Finally I deploy some webparts written in ASP.NET 2.0 on SharePoint and demonstrate them working with SharePoint webparts.
